My Story

I will be running 13.1 miles in aid of Oxford Hospitals Charity, helping them to continue to transform the hospitals that care for you and your loved ones.

On 16th November 2020, our 12 day old little boy, Lucca, collapsed. Thankfully, we were at the Children's Ward at the Horton Hospital in Banbury at the time. Without their prompt action, knowledge and skills he would not be here today.

The team stabilised Lucca enough for him to be transferred to Southampton and receive his life saving heart surgery.

Lucca is now a thriving 4 year old who is getting ready to start school, miracles can and do happen, thanks to the wonderful teams who work in our hospitals.
